I've hired plenty of consultants during my career, so I know what it's like to be on the client side of a project. I always feel more confident hiring someone when I have a clear understanding of what to expect during each step of our collaborative process.
So, with no further ado, here's what you can expect working with me: |

When you make initial contact, we'll discuss your business and products, and your goals for enhancing profitability, reducing costs, timeframe, and so on.
We’ll talk about your industry in general and your business specifically. I’ll ask questions about your products and services, your customers and competitors, and your long-term and short-term goals.
I’ll provide a written estimate, describing the scope of the project we’ve defined in our discussions, the terms of our working relationship, deliverables, timetables, metrics and reporting, budgets, charges, and payment schedules.
At this point I'll put our plan into action. We'll be in regular contact – regardless of whether I'm working onsite or virtually – and I'll keep you informed as to the project's progress on a daily or weekly basis, depending on what we've agreed to and what makes sense for your project.
Our agreement will include specific provisions for feedback on and approval of each stage of the project.
At the conclusion of the project, I'll provide a detailed report on project results and recommendations for project maintenance (if it's an ongoing initiative) and/or future projects (i.e., recommended next steps).
